finding your spirituality within all the craziness and judgement

What does it mean to be spiritual?  Does it mean to go to church?  Does it mean to recruit or save others?  What does it mean?!! 

Spirituality does not seem to have much in common with Religion these day, althoug there are those with in religion who are, in fact, very spiritual.  To be spiritual means to live with in your spirit, or connected to your spirit.  So first you must find out who your are and what you believe in. 

Spirituality is not found in religion although religion may aid one on their path.  True spirituality lies in the nurturing on your own spirit, belief system, and the developement of blind faith.

Few religious (and spiritual) people truly have blind faith.  But what is blind faith?  It is KNOWING everything will be okay even when it is not okay.  It is allowing yourself to live your life knowing you are doing what you are meant to do and all those around you are doing what they are meant to do.

If you live in Blind faith, you will find there is no need to save anyone or decide anyone's belief is wrong.  You will see and trust that God/the universe (or what you call your force) has a perfect plan for everyone and each moment has a perfect purpose that leads to the next. 

Many people seeking spirituality or enlightenment think that when you reach enlightenment that you will no longer have human emotions, or worry.  Enlightenment means you are able to live within those emotions and life situations while remaining content while you are feeling sad, angry, hopeless, or mad.  You ego's voice nor your emotions cease no mattter how enlightened you get.  The ego and your emotions are gifts of being human.

SO what does that mean!!!!  Does it mean I am never going to feel good?  Where do I go then?  Who do I follow?  Who is going to teach me?

You do not need a teacher as so to speak.  We are all teachers as we are all students.  The best teachers teach without knowing they teach.  When you are ready, something will always come into your life to show you where you are going next.  Trust yourself, trust your universe and trust your thoughts.

Become aware of your ego's voice and learn not to buy into it's drama, but learn to add in another voice.  The 'negative thoughts' of the ego are a part of us, and we must learn to balance them with the  'positive thoughts' of the 'higher self'.  We will always have BOTH of these thoughts in our mind.  Right now most of us only have the ego and its rantings to listen to.  It will take time and practice to add back in that other voice as you have spent a lifetime now nurturing the voice of the ego without even realizing it.

But remember, there are no mistakes and you have done nothing wrong :) 

So do not stop the voice of the ego, add in another voice, another thought,  Evolve your thoughts by adding in, not trying to stop or take away.

What do my thoughts have to do with my spirituality?

Within your thoughts lies your perception of what is around you and happening in your life.  As you learn to make your thoughts nicer to listen to, you will see a more content world around you.  As you see this world, you will feel more content yourself and be able to connect to and hear the voice of what you believe in. 

We are always being guided.  The guidance is within us, and every single person has it.  Every single person is loved and accepted by this force no matter their belief, religion, race, or past.  This force is always creating and always loving and we are an extension of it.

So trust yourself.  Add in some new thoughts today.  Don't chastise yourself if you are thinking horrible thoughts about yourself or others, simply take the time to add in thoughts of "I love you" "All is well in my world" or even "Thank you"  Simple thoughts bring great contentment as our thoughts are way more powerful than we realize they are.
