Do not run to a psychic, clairvoyant, counselor, psychologist or psychiatrist when you feel you are feeling lost or confused. Before you do anything realize you have you answers even when it does not feel like it. Take a step back from your situation and understand that you get to have a bad day, you get to feel confused, you are not blind and sometimes we all feel like we are lost.
Taking the time to slow down our brains and realize we are capable of living our own lives is a something few of us do. Take the time to write down your conflicts and look at them objectively. Take the time to give yourself the advice you would give a friend then trust yourself enough to listen to it.
As human being we are complex creatures. Take the time to allow yourself to be human.
Realize people cannot always aid you as they sometimes have not worked through their own problems. Many people want a sense of codependancy or find this a way to earn their living by preying on anothers wants, needs or self imposed 'short comings'.
Be wary of who you choose to ask for guidance and remember to ask yourself first.

- Look at the situation you are in.
- Write it down on paper.
- Write possible solutions for yourself not including another person. Remember, you cannot be made to do anything and you cannot make another person change or do anything.
- Looking at these possible solutions, ask yourself what you are willing to do at this time. Remember, you must give a solution that is achievable for you right now. You must live within what you can handle and not decide on a choice that will only leave you feeling more confused.
- Also take the time to think what you would tell a friend if they were in the same situation. Remember, you are your own best friend, so what would you do?
